18th Annual Red Futures Sale: 3-27-2010

The sale date for the 18th annual Red Futures Sale is March 27, 2010, to be held again at the Cow Palace in Kaukauna, WI.  Another special event occurring on March 26, 2010 will be the Siemers Holstein sale at the Great Northern in Fond du Lac.  Two great sales – back to back - just 45 minutes apart! World Dairy Expo 2009 -- World Dairy Expo Press Release

Elm Park Farms was named the Premier Breeder at the World Dairy Expo Red & White International Show for the 13th year, and Premier Breeder for the 16th year al the Red & White International Show. The unique aspect of this win was the 125,000 Ib Class in which the first place Elm-Park ln-N-Out-Red, competed with her dam, the third place row, Elm-Park Inluit-Red-ET. This mother-daughler pair in their combined Lifetimes have produced just under 400,000 Ibs milk! This is the first lime in the history of the show that a dam-daughler pair have competed against each other in this class.

Elm Park Farms 17th Red Futures Sale was held on March 28th, 2009 and averaged $3,024 on 92 full lots.

The 17th edition of the Elm-park Red Futures Sale which was held at the Cow Palace in Kaukauna on March 28th was again a succesful sale for females, males and embryos.

A full house crowd with breeders attending from Maryland, Ohio, Michigan and New York participated in 10 lots selling for over $5,000, 2 lots selling over $10,000 and 1 lot over $15,000. The contenders and buyer’s of these Red & Whites are from 16 states from California to New York to Texas. Buyers and contenders also were from British Colombia, Ontario, Canada, Austria, New Zealand and Argentina.

The high price was $15,100 for Lot 11, Horstyle Elmpark Moy-RED-ET, a June 08 Mr Burns dtr of Horstyle Marshall Mindy EX 90, her GTPI is +1887. She was sold by Elm Park Farms and bought by Cedar Lane Farms, NJ. 2nd high at $14,000 was Lot 2 sold by Golden Oaks Farms and bought by Elm Park Farms. This was a 1st choice Goldwyn from Golden Oaks Perk Rae EX 90. Click here for a full price list.
